Internships: AT THIS TIME WE CURRENTLY ARE NOT ACCEPTING NEW INTERNS
We offer Internships for those that would like to learn more about Holistic living while giving back to the community in the form of projects and help at The Holistic Center.
While there may be some light cleaning, running of errands and general help - most of the time is spent on learning about various Holistic modalities and products we carry in The Holistic Center while at the same time working on various projects the center is part of.
Currently some of these projects are:
The Holistic Lending Library - A free lending library with data base of all materials so people can borrow and learn - currently the library has close to 1,000 books in it .
PAST PROJECTS: The director Keith Chouinard created the local annual event called "The Historic Hunt" the other year to help educate more people on local history facts. Interns have helped create the original official entry form as well as brochures and promotional items for the event each year.
The Holistic Center ihas been part of community networking groups which help foster awareness of the local area and things we offer. The Holistic Center and it's Interns have worked hard on creating projects and helping out in many ways with these community group.
Educational tools are created by the interns that can be used within the center and given out as hand outs to those that share in community at The Holistic Center.
When appropriate interns receive discounts on products and services and are able to use some of the centers "tools" free of charge.
The Holistic Center strives to see that the interns learn more about a "Holistic Way of Living" with a balanced approach to mind/body/spirit wellness within the constraints of each interns state of consciousness that they bring with them to this endeavor.
If you would like to set up an appointment with the director of the center and this program to learn about the process of applying - Please:
